Approach to base problem of Yokohama-shi

After World War II, center and the harbor facilities of city are requisitioned over a wide area, and the rebuilding, revival of Yokohama will be late remarkably.
In four places of U.S. forces facilities still staying in the city, and pushing forward the making of city, big; disturb.
However, because U.S. forces facility is precious space resource left in metropolitan area, we promote approach of early full-scale return and plan utilization of return ruins.

Yokohama-shi performed "request about cancellation of the plane noise by night consecutive taking off and landing training of the U.S. carrier plane in Atsugi base" as member of Atsugi base anti-noise measures meeting to country and the U.S. side。 (PDF file 145KB)

In conjunction with training conduct (PDF file 21KB) of the U.S. forces in north Fuji practice ground from October 25, 2018 to November 5, we called about import of ammunition not being performed in Mizuho Wharf / Yokohama north dock, taking the perfect system not to make any case, accident getting up, there not being that we were connected for functional enhancement of facility again in country. From Ministry of Defense, five CV-22 Osprey was going to arrive at Yokohama north dock by ship today today, and there was communication with (PDF file 133KB) that we were going to fly from Yokohama north dock to Yokota airport in late this week. We received this, and Yokohama-shi called today. (PDF file 46KB)
