About designated refuse
When there is designated application in country, in radiological pollution coping special measures law, radioactivity concentration of radioactive cesium is prescribed about refuse more than 8,000 becquerels per 1 kilogram and country takes responsibility for designation refuse and will process.
After going ahead through procedure of designated application from March, 2013 to Ministry of the Environment about refuse which engineering works office kept and sludge of use of city school rainwater facility in Motoichi, and submitting application of designation refuse to Ministry of the Environment on September 27, 2013, about all items which we applied for, we were appointed on December 26, 2013.

・ Refuse (sludge) which deposited on the road (Kohoku engineering works office safekeeping: 10 kg)
・ Refuse (sludge) which deposited on the road (Tsurumi engineering works office safekeeping: 4kg)
・ Sludge (17 schools: 2,908.8kg) of use of city school rainwater facility
(3) Storage method
Designated refuse will work by responsibility of country, but method or place of concrete disposal will continue storage based on discussion with Ministry of the Environment "designation refuse guidelines" and Ministry of the Environment appropriately in future until it is decided.
